You just need a gym that doesn’t feel intimidating.
We’re often described as the most unintimidating gym in Newcastle, and that’s exactly how our classes are designed.
All levels welcome, small groups, clear guidance, and absolutely no pressure to perform.
Right now, we’re highlighting our morning strength classes (6:00–10:30am), including a calm, supportive 9:30am session.

Who are we?
We’re Body Image Fitness, a small, colourful studio in Newcastle where you’re known by name, not by numbers.
Run by neurodivergent owner Kim Stacey, this space was created for people who’ve never felt like they quite fit into traditional gym culture. Loud gyms, confusing rules, diet talk, pressure to perform, we said no thank you to all of that.
Instead, you’ll find small, unintimidating sessions, personalised coaching, and a genuinely inclusive atmosphere where different bodies, brains, energy levels, and needs are not just accepted, they’re expected.
No diet culture.
No calorie counting.
No shame, scales, or “before and afters.”
Just joyful movement, strength that feels good, and a community that celebrates you exactly as you are. We lift, we laugh, we adapt, and we make fitness work for you, not the other way around.
This is a weight-neutral, neurodivergent-led space with big heart, bright personality, and zero tolerance for toxic gym vibes.
A small studio doing things differently.
A place where you can finally exhale, and move in a way that feels like yours.
