small studio big support
Just a little heads up
We keep our classes small, which means spaces are limited, and January is booking fast.
UPCOMING HIGHLIGHTS
Who are we?
We’re Body Image Fitness, a small, colourful studio in Newcastle where you’re known by name, not by numbers.
Run by neurodivergent owner Kim Stacey, this space was created for people who’ve never felt like they quite fit into traditional gym culture. Loud gyms, confusing rules, diet talk, pressure to perform, we said no thank you to all of that.
Instead, you’ll find small, unintimidating sessions, personalised coaching, and a genuinely inclusive atmosphere where different bodies, brains, energy levels, and needs are not just accepted, they’re expected.
No diet culture.
No calorie counting.
No shame, scales, or “before and afters.”
Just joyful movement, strength that feels good, and a community that celebrates you exactly as you are. We lift, we laugh, we adapt, and we make fitness work for you, not the other way around.
This is a weight-neutral, neurodivergent-led space with big heart, bright personality, and zero tolerance for toxic gym vibes.
A small studio doing things differently.
A place where you can finally exhale, and move in a way that feels like yours.

No, the studio isn’t open for independent gym use. We focus on structured small-group classes, personal training, and supportive coaching, ensuring the space is safe, guided, and tailored to each person. If you’d like additional training time, personal training and small-group options are available.
