No Diets | No shame

During personal training sessions, you’ll have exclusive use of the studio, giving you a calm, private, and supportive environment, ideal if typical gym settings feel intimidating or overwhelming.

Every session is grounded in a weight-neutral approach, meaning the focus is on improving your body image, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and mental wellbeing, without emphasising intentional weight loss.

Personal Training sessions are held in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

About Kim

Kim is a Level 3 Personal Trainer, qualified in core training, advanced resistance training, group exercise, and exercise referral. This means she can confidently support clients with a wide range of health conditions including (but not limited to) arthritis, lower back pain, hypertension, joint replacement, and osteoporosis. She’s also a lower back pain exercise specialist and pre- and postnatal qualified.

As a yoga instructor (specialising in yoga for bigger bodies and diverse communities), and a Burlesque Cardio and Twerk-After-Work group instructor, Kim brings a unique, joyful approach to movement — helping you build confidence, strength, and connection with your body, your way.

There’s no pressure and no sales pitch — just a warm welcome, a tour of the space, and an open conversation to help you feel comfortable and supported from day one.

We’re all about ditching the diet mentality and embracing a holistic approach to health and happiness. With our non-diet personal training program, you’ll discover a new way of thinking about fitness—one that prioritises self-compassion, balance, and joy.

I really enjoy my personal training sessions with Kim! I was never that coordinated or liked PE in school, so I’ve always ruled exercise out as being “not for me”. Whole-heartedly enjoy fitness
It is coming up on a year since I started personal training with Kim and Body Image Fitness, and here are some of the outcomes I’m experiencing: ⭐️ I can lift heavier things than I could before ⭐️ I feel more energetic than I did before ⭐️ My knees complain a lot less about going up and down stairs ⭐️ I can’t remember the last time my back hurt ⭐️ I have loads of fun exercising in a range of different ways ⭐️ My self-punishing messages about exercise and food are quieter than they’ve ever been ⭐️ I have made new friends ⭐️ I have, for the first time, experienced really, wholeheartedly enjoying exercising but without the added pressure of “you must always build to more”.
