Postnatal Movement
We are exploring the development of a postnatal movement and confidence programme rooted in the same weight neutral, body-respectful approach as Body Image Fitness. Rather than rushing to launch something that doesn’t fully meet people’s needs, we want to take the time to listen first.
What to expect
This programme is intended for people who have given birth and want:
To rebuild strength without pressure to “bounce back
A safe, inclusive, non-judgemental space
Movement that focuses on function, confidence and care, not weight loss
It will not be about shrinking your body, fixing yourself, or meeting unrealistic expectations.
FAQs
Not yet. This page is to register interest only while we explore whether and how this programme should be created. Your responses help shape what it becomes.
Postnatal support deserves care, nuance, and listening.
Rather than rushing to sell something before fully understanding what people need, I want to co-create this with those it’s intended for.
This would be for people who have given birth and want:
Gentle, confidence-building movement
A non-diet, weight-neutral approach
Support that acknowledges physical and emotional postnatal changes
You don’t need to be “fit,” confident, or at a certain postnatal stage to register interest.
There’s no strict timeline. People experience postnatal recovery very differently.
Registering your interest helps me understand who this needs to support and how wide or focused the programme should be.
All sessions take place at the Body Image Fitness studio in a completely non-judgemental, supportive environment designed with inclusivity and psychological safety in mind.
