About Spencer
Spencer (he/him) holds a Master’s degree in Strength & Conditioning and has worked with a wide range of people, from complete beginners taking their first steps into strength training to elite athletes competing at the highest level.
His experience includes leading strength and conditioning programmes for the Newcastle Eagles Basketball Club, heading up Strength & Conditioning at Nexgen Tennis Academy, supporting university sports teams, and working with para-athletes. Across every setting, Spence’s focus has remained the same: helping people move well, build strength and gain confidence in a way that works for them.
What drew Spence to Body Image Fitness was our inclusive, weight-neutral approach. He believes movement should prioritise health, strength, mobility and long-term wellbeing, with progress measured by what your body can do rather than how it looks.
weight neutral personal training
During personal training sessions, you’ll have a calm, private, and supportive environment, ideal if typical gym settings feel intimidating or overwhelming.
Every session is grounded in a weight-neutral approach, meaning the focus is on improving your body image, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and mental wellbeing, without emphasising intentional weight loss.
Personal Training sessions are held in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne
